You will need to consult the 2017 AMFA Syllabus External link to select the class number. Additional classes are available in the 2017 Local Music Syllabus PDF which is a supplement to the AMFA Syllabus.

*Musical Theatre performers: check the Musical Theatre List PDF [sorted by Show name or Song name] to classify your song (ballad/up-tempo) according to AMFA guidelines when making your entry.

  • DEADLINE for General registrations: Friday, January 27, 2017
    *Late general registrations [after midnight Jan. 27, 2017] will be accepted [but with a $25 late fee charge per form] until Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
  • DEADLINE for Sr. High Band & Sr. High Choir registrations: Monday, February 6, 2017
    Late Sr. High Band & Sr. High Choir registrations [after midnight February 6, 2017] will be accepted [but with a $25 late fee charge per form] until Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
    Entry forms will not be accepted after February 15, 2017.

Class number changes will be accepted only until February 15, 2017. A LATE ENTRY FEE may apply.
Entry Fees are discounted when entering multiple solo classes within the same ENTRY CATEGORY

. When entering multiple solo classes (single selection) use the applicable discounted entry fee for each class.

***Preparatory, Recital, Concert, Complete Concerto/Sonata Classes & Duet, Trio, Quartet and Small Group Classes are not included when calculating discount.

2017 St. Albert Rotary Music Festival Entry Regulations

  • Entry Fees must accompany each entry and are non-refundable. The St. Albert Rotary Music Festival reserves the right to refuse any entry.
  • Scheduling & Special Requests: Use designated field online or attach note to entry form. For School Band and Choir students also entering solo classes, please indicate your school/choral group on your solo entry to avoid scheduling conflicts. We try to honour scheduling requests to accommodate school trips when received on the entry form.
  • A late entry fee of $25 per form will be charged for entries received after midnight on Friday, January 27, 2017 [Monday, February 6, 2017 for Senior High Bands and Senior High Choirs].
  • Entry forms will not be accepted after Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
  • Class number changes will be accepted only until Wednesday, February 15, 2017. A LATE ENTRY FEE may apply.
  • Selection changes/additions for classes entered will be accepted until Monday, February 27, 2017. Please submit by email.
  • Participants and teachers are responsible for knowing and adhering to the Rules Governing Local Festivals as published in the 2017 Alberta Music Festival Association Syllabus PDF and the regulations of the St. Albert Rotary Music Festival Local Syllabus.
